They say good things come in 3s. The Jordan Brand is doing its best to make us realize the truth in that statement with another beauty of an Air Jordan 3, the Black Flip! This shoe gets it’s nickname due to Jordan Brand “flipping” the normal location of the iconic elephant print, moving from the toe and heel panels to the entire upper of the shoe.  First debuted in an all white/silver version back in 2007 and now it’s Back in Black. Even Jay-Z would be proud of this shoe…”all black everything” with a hint of grey/silver.

One of the people’s favorite, the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cements” make a return on Black Friday this year.  This shoe first debuted in the ‘87/88 NBA season when Jordan won the Slam Dunk contest, the All Star MVP, All-Defensive First Team and Defensive Player of the Year. These 3s feature black tumbled leather and the iconic elephant print on the toe and heel as well as a bold varsity red Jumpman on the tongue.

The Studiiyo23 holiday season will kick off on October 8th with the release of the Air Jordan XIV “Obsidian” in the never before seen Light Graphite/Midnight Navy-Black-White colorway. The Air Jordan XIV was the last Air Jordan worn by MJ while he played with the Chicago Bulls. It was while wearing the XIV black/reds that Jordan completed his second three-peat after sinking the “Last Shot”.  There is a lot of history that goes along with this shoe and the new colorway adds a splash of freshness to a classic.

We all know that Nike can and does…well…”Just Do It”….they continue to break barriers and…JUST DO IT! Through the recent release of the Nike MAG, last seen on Marty McFly in the cult classic “Back to the Future II”, Nike themselves helped raise over $5.6 million towards the fight against Parkinson’s disease via The Michael J. Fox Foundation. When we add in the fact that Google co-founder Sergey Brin said he would match whatever Nike raised, we have a Grand Total of exactly $11,390,381.10!!!
